Here a series of dimensional paintings, conceived in more or less formal terms of shape and color, assume character from their differing subject matter. Textures, whether of oil or acrylic paint, are kept close to the canvas surfaces. Related shapes are composed to alternately assert or retreat into an ambivalent space.
